 9th May 2009Site Update Sorry for the big lack of updates to the site over the last few months, i've had a few problems with someone logging in and canging my password to my account for starters so I was planning on changing hosts. Im not sure if im going to make the switch over yet but I will let you know soon as the new host offers alot more in the way of space and I can actually have a PHPBB forum! The site has now gone live to version 1.02 and will be kept up to date this time but im going to have to clear a few of the pages and re-organise some things on the site so for now the News Archive will be down. |
| 26th February 2009 The Sims 3 Update A big update from Kotaku. They posted 2 articles and 3 new screenshots. In the first article, associate producer Grant Rodiek guids the reporter through the neighborhood. | 24th February 2009 Site Update Firstly I've added a new poll onto the poll page, the last poll has shown that 21% of you want another Sims 2 EP to make up for the delay of The Sims 3, 36% of you weren't that bothered about another Sims 2 EP but would still buy it and the remaining 43% said they didn't want another EP for The Sims 2 as they are all for The Sims 3 now! Snow Scene Competition I have set the snow scene compo up a few weeks back and its going to continue to run in order for me to get more entries, I have had a new entry from Sim-Wolf and this can be found on the competition page Simolean Sims Survey Last week i added a survey to the site to find out what the community wanted from Simolean Sims and i have decided that once i buy the new domain for the site that i will find a decent forum and get more downloads on the site! Thank you for filling out the survey and it is now closed. News Archive I have finally got the news archive on the site so as you may well see that some of the enws has now gone from the home page and will now be found on the news archive page. |
| 20th February 2009 The Sims 3 Producer Interview Gameplanet had an interview with Rodiek a producer of The Sims 3 and he has said some interesting things about why the game has been delayed until June 2009."GP: We’ve recently heard of the delay to the ship date, can you give us some idea as to why this has occurred? Rodiek: The Sims 3 June launch gives more time for tuning and polish and the ability to launch the game on PC and Mac platforms simultaneously. This is a key EA franchise and title and it deserves a bigger bet on the best Sims game EA has made. These last few months will give us a little more time to tune, tweak, and polish the game. Our players have been waiting for something awesome and that’s exactly what we intend to give them." |

| 18th February 2009 Site Update Just a quick update, i thought I had fixed the header and footer issues but I haven't managed to do it so im going to change the site slightly (again i know) in order for this to work correctly. I am also going to buy a domain so this site is abit better, thanks for your patience with this. |
